Of all the hours of audio and reading I’ve done just to answer the question of how I’ll be useful when AI is here and evolving into AGI, yours is special because it’s not just about human workers, but humanity at work. Your points on empathy are the most convincing; I can see how we value a real soul in the room to help us, not just a pattern-matching machine to help a digital universe of other people who might be like us. Honest kindness, as is valuable in coaching, is born from an on-the-ground experienced, well-tempered moral and spiritual compass. It’s all left me thinking that as people, we need convenience and materials but also attention—As tools may better fulfill the needs tools can, humans may better fulfill the needs humans can. Such reflection as you’ve sparked, on what we realize about ourselves at the coming of AGI, is where it begins. 🤖🫀
